Re: Trying to dry out the boat and battling leaks and sweating hull
You can only "dry" the boat out to equal the normal air humidity of your location.
Constant air exchange is your best bet to get to that equilibrium.
IMHO

Sean - looks like a nice example. You may also consider posting on TrawerForum classifieds.
Best success on finding her next caretaker. Transition to Ireland sounds exciting.

W30 Voyager "Moonlight" for sale
I’ve always thought the saddest boat adverts are the ones that begin “a change of life plans force us to sell our beloved boat”. It always makes me think some tragedy has struck the unlucky

Probably part of the ground plane for a high frequency AM radio. When these boats were built VHF FM was in its infancy. I know in the mid ‘70’s I still had a Daniels HF AM radiophone (2182 kilo

Re: 1963 copper artifact in 36 footer.
Looks like part of an old ground plane. Most old boats have had several owners and each has had their own idea of what the boat and they needed.

1963 copper artifact in 36 footer.
I was doing some excavation in my engine room, removing the last portside double layer of celotex ceiling tiles on the forward bulkhead when I found this copper ribbon. About 1" x.032, neatly folded
